Dear Parents, Guardians, and Pine Haven Family,

Thank you for welcoming me into this new year as a first time principal.  I am stepping into this position with 27 years of experience in education.  I taught at Clarkrange Elementary and South Fentress before coming to Pine Haven as the Instructional Coach for the past 11 years.  While taking classes toward my first educational degree I was the director at Kreative Kid Kare, a non-profit day care that I helped get established at the community center.  My life has been in education and I am proud to be able to continue it as Pine Haven’s principal.  As I work in this position with our students, faculty, staff, and parents, I find myself referencing the importance of working together as a TEAM and FAMILY to provide the best possible future for our students in the safest possible environment.  Truly, I believe that talking through issues, defining a plan, and working side by side will define what each child needs to be safe, productive, successful, and happy.  I am striving to be a leader that each child, parent, and staff member will be proud to call their principal.  I look forward to meeting each family member, working together, and watching our community of children grow into productive citizens.  Please feel free to stop by, call, or email with any questions or concerns.
